Pork Sisig




Ingredients:

  • 1kg pork (ears/belly)
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 thumb size ginger, minced
  • 3 chili pepper, chopped
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 lemon or 5 pcs calamansi
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • Scallion (optional)

Cooking Procedure:
  1. Boil pork in a pot for 30 to 45 minutes or until tender.
  2. Grill or fry the boiled pork and then dice.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the diced pork, onion, ginger, and chili pepper.
  4. Melt the butter in a pan. Add the pork mixture and saute for 1 minute.
  5. Add soy sauce, lemon/calamansi, ground black pepper and salt. Mix for 1 minute.
  6. Turn of the heat and add the mayonnaise.
  7. Garnish with chopped scallion.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
